Golden Boot Winner Clears Competition by 10+ Points

Congratulations to Fernando C. of FC Headers for becoming our first ever Golden Boot Winner, with 28 points on the season (16 goals and 12 assists) in 8 games. That's 3.5 points per game. And it could be record that goes unbeaten for some time.

Fernando tallied the most goals and the most assists, making him 10 points clear of his FCH teammate, Chris P., who finished second in scoring, with 18 points (10 goals and 8 assists) in 8 games.

Third in scoring was Chico's Bails Bonds Jimmy H., with 17 points (9 goals and 8 assists) in 7 games.

WSP's top female points earner (and fifth overall) was Caroline C. of the Scousers, with 12 points (7 goals and 5 assists) in 7 games.

The prize for top points earner is a traditional medal (and not some lousy piece of plastic).

The more prestigious and prize-worthy MVP award will be announced the day after the Cup Championship Final (the prize up for grabs is a free half hour massage by a medical massage therapist).
